While Tenmile Lake offers excellent freshwater fishing, guests at North Lake RV Resort & Marina are also just minutes away from some of Oregon’s best ocean fishing and crabbing. Located in Lakeside, Oregon, our resort is a short drive from Winchester Bay and Coos Bay, two of the top saltwater fishing destinations on the Southern Oregon Coast.



Whether you want to book a deep sea fishing charter, cast from the jetty, or try your hand at crabbing and clamming, our central location makes it easy to experience all the coast has to offer—while still returning to the quiet comfort of your lakeside campsite.

Only 20 minutes from our resort, Winchester Bay is a popular launch point for deep sea fishing trips into the Pacific Ocean. Several local charter companies operate out of Salmon Harbor Marina, offering guided trips for anglers of all experience levels.

If you prefer to stay closer to shore, the jetties and beaches of Winchester Bay and Coos Bay offer great access to saltwater fishing without a boat. The Umpqua River jetty in Winchester Bay is well known for producing:

The Oregon Coast is famous for its Dungeness crab and razor clams—and both are within reach when you stay at North Lake RV Resort & Marina. Winchester Bay and Coos Bay offer excellent crabbing opportunities from docks, piers, or small boats. Rental gear and bait are available at local shops in both towns.
