At this time, North Lake RV Resort & Marina does not rent kayaks or paddleboards, but we fully support guests bringing their own.

Paddlers are welcome to:

  • Ask our team for help locating the best launch points or quietest coves

We recommend bringing a life jacket, dry bag, and sun protection when heading out for longer paddles. Our store stocks drinks, snacks, and other essentials you can bring along for your trip.

  • Is kayaking safe for beginners on Tenmile Lake?

    Yes. The lake features calm waters and sheltered areas, making it very beginner-friendly. Always wear a life jacket and stay within sight of shore if you’re new to paddling.

  • Can I launch from my campsite?

    Some sites have close shoreline access. Others are a short walk from the boat ramp or designated launch areas. Ask us during booking if you'd like a site near the water.

  • Are life jackets required?

    Oregon law requires one Coast Guard–approved life jacket per person on board. Children under 13 must wear theirs at all times while paddling.

  • Do you offer kayak rentals?

    We currently do not rent kayaks or paddleboards. Guests should bring their own watercraft.

  • Is the lake busy with powerboats?

    Certain areas of the lake are popular with powerboats, but many coves and inlets remain quiet, especially in the mornings and evenings.
